London, Curium Data Systems, the data management technology company, today announced that Velliv, the Danish pension and insurance company has implemented CuriumEDM to manage the processing of its ESG data universe, thereby ensuring the firm can support its expanding regulatory and commercial requirements around these critical data sets.

The initial target for Curium is to address the ingestion, aggregation, mastering and quality control of ESG data.  Velliv plans to expand its use of Curium over time and build out similar data processing models for its other investment data sets including benchmarks, prices and other key investment data.

Kasper Moller Deleuran, Head of Middle Office at Velliv commented: “We realised some time ago that our expanding universe of ESG data sources would necessitate a new data management approach around how we ingest and work with these data sets prior to that data entering our main portfolio and accounting systems.  In our selection process, Curium demonstrated that it had a lot of features to support ESG data processing and that its adoption would be both economical and timely.” Moller Deleuran added: “ Now that we have good confidence in our ESG processing controls we can build similar models over other data sets and anchor Curium in our daily operational process.”
